Shanghai, China – [September 12, 2025] – Montage LZ, a leading fabless semiconductor company specialized in set-top-box IC solutions, is pleased to announce that Taiwan’s esteemed ODM, TSC, has selected Montage LZ Symphony4 SoC for the next generation STB solution for Sun Direct, one of India’s leading Tier 1 Direct to Home satellite TV operators. With successful approval and development of the project, the product is now ready for high volume production.

The Symphony4 SoC delivers high-performance video processing, multi-format decoding, supporting HEVC, VP9 and HDR, all while maintaining a cost-effective HW design.
Featuring Irdeto MSR 4.0 certification, Symphony4 ensures robust digital rights protection for premium content delivery.
After TSC’s Sun Direct STB solution with Symphony4 IC moves into mass production, TSC and Montage LZ will utilize this well-built platform for new sockets in India or other global opportunities.
Montage LZ will showcase this Symphony4 powered solution at IBC 2025, in IBC suite at Hall 1, Balcony Suite BS6, RAI Amsterdam, September 12–15.
